1. WARNING SYSTEM
    • Offer 3 warnings for similar offenses.
    • Clearly communicate the reason for the warning and any steps necessary to resolve the issue. 
    • After 3 warnings, contact the FNM Crew to receive approval on banning.
  2. PRIVATE CORRECTION
    • Given that we have hosts that are neurodivergent, and we advertise that, we often will have people join chat/community that have social & communication difficulties because it feels safer here. 
    • Whenever possible, avoid calling people out publicly and causing unnecessary embarrassment. Always assume first that there are communication differences before assuming mal-intent.  If there is an issue, addressing it privately is preferred, though not always possible.
  3. AGE GUIDELINES
    • LIVE CHAT
      • If you notice a minor in chat, please go into PG13 mode, and alert us in the “On Air” discord channel.
        • Hold swear words and sexually suggestive comments in chat
    • DISCORD
      • Our discord is 18+. Please contact the FNM Crew if you are aware of a minor in discord. 
  4. STEER CONVERSATION
    • The goal is to STEER conversation rather than enforce rules, so that behavior correction feels natural rather than dictated.
    • Where appropriate, educate; for example, on topics like ableist language and why it is hurtful.
  5. REDIRECT VS DELETE
    • Gently REDIRECT chat away from:
      • Politics
      • Negativity
      • Controversial Topics
      • Excessively Suggestive Language
      • Messages that could be perceived as bullying or headed in that direction. 
    • Please DELETE comments or messaging that is:
      • Racist
      • Sexist
      • Ableist
      • Harassment
      • Discriminatory
  6. CAPS & REPEATS
    • Repeat Messages are allowed as long as they are not being spammed back to back.
      • When chat is active, it can be easy for us to miss messages, but it’s important to us that we personally address as many people as possible. 
      • You can also help with this by pinning messages that we haven’t been picking up on. Especially if they’re getting buried and are useful for conversation starters. 
    • ALL CAPS Mesages are allowed.
      • We tend to get excited and yell, so it’s okay if chat is yelling too. 
  7. SWEARING & SUGGESTIVE LANGUAGE
    • Mild swearing & suggestive language is permitted. Please delete sexually explicit comments and the following swear words:
      • Fuck
      • Goddamn
    • While we are NOT tagged as family friendly, it is important that we minimize language that would make others feel uncomfortable or that could affect our relationship with potential sponsors. 
  8. RAID SUGGESTIONS
    • We welcome your raid suggestions, but please post them in our “On Air” discord channel to avoid awkward moments on live. 
    • We prefer to target smaller channels with very few viewers.
