Netflix released the first official poster for The Witcher Season 3. This features Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer with somber expressions and embracing one another.
This looks to be the last season for Henry Cavill in the role of Geralt…which is incredibly devastating for most fans…specifically for us here at FNM. We are hoping there may be CTRL+Z on that announcement at some point, but it is looking more and more likely that this poster is marking the beginning of a long goodbye to Cavill’s version of the video game character.
In Season 4, Liam Hemsworth will be taking over the role with an almost IMPOSSIBLE task of filling the shoes left behind by Cavill’s departure.
I think most of us can say we are PUMPED for season 3 to see more of Geralt’s story, but it will be bittersweet knowing it will probably never be the same after this season.
The Witcher Season 3 debuts on Netflix some time this summer!
